EDUCATION

Certified UX/UI Designer through the University of Texas at Austin in conjunction with McCombs School of Business, having previously earned an Associate in Graphic Design specializing in Visual Communication.

PROCEDURE

RESEARCH

I immerse myself in what I design—taking in as much information as I can so that new perspectives may present themselves. The more information I have to work with, the better the final design.

DISCUSSION

Conversation is one of my favorite and most valued resources as a designer. The depth of knowledge I am able to gain simply by asking questions is extremely useful during the designing process.

EMPATHY

When facing design decisions, preserving the perspective of the end user helps make sure I am designing for them. Great design holds tremendous value in its usage through user experience.

STRENGTHS

DETAIL-ORIENTED

Misalignments, conflicting colors, widows, orphans—small details can distract the user, leading their attention away from a design, thus losing the intended effect.

UNLOCKED POTENTIAL

All ideas are great ideas. Some ideas just teach you what does not work. Therefore, ideation is key. The more ideas that are utilized, the better the end design.

OPEN-MINDEDNESS

No one has all the answers. That’s why working with a team is best for a design. When everyone can play to their strengths, the best possibilities for a design emerge.
